Blogger - Adding Tabs

Adding Tabs to your Blogger Page

There may be easier ways to do this but this is the way I know!!

Go to your blogger page where you want to add the tabs

Click Design

This will take to this page.

Click Layout

Here you can add all sorts of things.  Have a play around with the different gadgets and positioning to see what works for you.

So, on with the page tabs!

Click Add a Gadget

(I recommend using the space above your Posts area for this)

You will get a list of all the different gadgets you can use on your page.  Scroll down and select
Link List

This is where you will ad links to all the pages you want the link to go to.

Title - This is just a name for you gadget box an will not been seen on your page.  I've just called it Link List.

New Site URL - this is the web address to want to go to when clicking on the tab

New Site Name - This is what you will see written on the tab

To get the New Site URL open the page you want to link to in a new tab (you can have multiple Blogger windows open) then copy the web address from the bar at the top, then go back to your Link List and paste in the web address.

Alternatively, get a list of addresses ready and add them manually or copy/paste from word.

Once all the info is entered click Add Link.

You will see a list of all the links added at the bottom.  If you want to change the order of the tabs use the small blue arrows to move the links up and down the list.

Once you have all your links and are happy with the order, Click Save.

You will now see a white box showing you where your tabs are going to be.

Click Save Arrangement

Then Click View Post

You should now have tabs!!

Good Luck!!
