Adding Pictures to a Forum Post

ADDING PICTURES TO YOUR FORUM POST

You will need to sign up to a photosharing site before you can add pictures.  I like to use Photobucket (www.photobucket.com/) but you can use any that will give you an IMG code.

Once you have your Photobucket account you will need to add the pictures you want to post on your forum page.

For Photobucket users:

Click: Upload

Next Click: Select photos and videos

You can now select the picture(s) you wish to upload.  For this example I have only selected 1 but if you want more, hold down the Ctrl button and select all the pictures you want to put on your forum.

Click: Open

Once all your pictures have finished uploading, you will see a green tick and it will say Upload completed.

Click: Save and continue to my album

This will take you to the pictures you have just uploaded.

Click on the picture you wish to add to your forum page.

This will open a larger version of your picture.

Over on the right hand side you will see a list of links.

You need to click on the IMG code link

When you click on it it will go yellow and say Copied.

Now go to your forum page (I suggest keeping your Photobucket page open incase you need to add more pictures).

On your forum page click edit (or post reply) to open the entry box.

Enter any text required and paste (Ctrl + V) the IMG code into the text box.  If you have more than 1 picture, you can switch between the Sims website and Photobucket adding each IMG code until you are done.

Once all your IMG codes and text are added.  Click Submit.

You should now have a picture on your forum page!!

Good Luck and Happy Simming!!
